A Swiss foundry felt that the production cycle for die-cast radiator assemblies was too long compared to other cast parts of similar weight and size. What is even more disturbing is that occasionally parts of the casting will stick to the fixed mold and will not fall off as the moving mold moves. This will lead to interruptions in the process of product production and increase in time.

So they came to us on the Internet, hoping to use CAE simulation analysis technology to solve the current problems and give suggestions for improvement. Combined with the problem, we carried out simulation analysis to make the pouring system get substantial improvement, achieve more stable and uniform filling, and reduce the rejection rate.

Casting simulation analysis helps to estimate the impact of different relevant technical parameters, thereby avoiding potential problems in production and reducing trial and error.

Through this project, we have established a good cooperative relationship with the company and provided more CAE consulting services.
