In this project, a company from China found us on the Internet and carried out CFD analysis of a UAV product according to the requirements.
Uav CFD analysis is a technique for the numerical simulation of drones using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods,aiming to optimize the design of drones and improve their performance and efficiency. CFD analysis can be applied to multiple aspects of Uavs,including but not limited to analysis of flow field properties,force-effect coupling analysis,to address various issues in UAV design.
The customer requires the analysis of the lift force of the rotor. The rotor's wing tip has a high linear speed. It can be seen from the space diagram that the blade's wing tip position produces a strong tumbling air flow from the pressure surface to the suction surface, which will cause the lift force of the wing tip to decrease. When the blades of adjacent rotors run close to each other, strong turbulence will also be generated.
Therefore, the aerodynamic design of the isolated airfoil cannot be fully referred to in the airfoil design, otherwise it will cause the deviation of the lift resistance calculation.
Through this project, we have established a good cooperative relationship with the company and provided more finite element analysis services.
